Cultivation & Harvest:

Hemp is a crop that grows without the use of pesticides and fungicides. The hemp forms a canopy early on, which suppresses the growth of weeds. Insect life is so diverse that no species can become harmful. We have summarized further information for you in our “growing tips”.

Who can grow?

In Germany, every recognized agricultural business is generally allowed to grow industrial hemp. Furthermore, no special permit is required. Only EU-certified industrial hemp varieties may be grown. The seeds can be purchased directly from us. Hemp cultivation must be registered in the agricultural “joint application” and reported to the Federal Office of Agriculture with the “cultivation notice” and the “declaration of the sown areas of industrial hemp”. As soon as the hemp blooms, all that remains is to “report the beginning of flowering” to the Federal Office of Agriculture.
